Our convenient new location is close to freeways, ferries and public transportation. In our efforts to reduce travel expenses and make travel to AWPHD meetings easy and productive, we encourage you to utilize the wide variety of public transportation options serving downtown Seattle. Getting to AWPHD’s new office is easy on a bus (King County Metro, Rapid Ride, Sound Transit Express) or a train (Link light rail or the Sounder Train) and most bus routes offer free Wi‐Fi for the ride. Our building also has an underground parking garage (height limit 6 feet) if you are unable to take public transportation. (Parking information driving directions below.) Uber and Lyft rideshare service apps are also good alternatives for those of you in the greater Seattle area and they eliminate the time and expense of finding a parking spot. www.Uber.com www.lyft.com (Seattle area taxi services are generally not recommended as their cars and drivers are often not clean or well kept.)

Parking

Note: Third Avenue is closed to car traffic during morning and evening rush hours (6‐9am and 3‐ 6:30pm). Violators driving more than one block on Third will be ticketed. Many downtown streets are one way. Please watch for signage and drive safely.

Parking is available in our building for vehicles under 6 feet in height. The parking garage entrance is on Madison Street (one‐way, westbound). Park in a non‐reserved spot where convenient. If you park in our building, please bring your parking ticket to the AWPHD receptionist for validation. There are also numerous pay lots nearby. The parking rate for a half‐day meeting would be approximately $27.00. http://www.aceparking.com/find‐parking/
